Do you ever get the feedback that your Teacher Talking Time or TTT is “too high”? While teacher talk is an important and necessary part of teaching, too much of it not only leads to frustrating feedback for teachers but can also demotivate and overwhelm the learners we’re trying to help.
This course will teach you how to:
1. Engage learners by setting up meaningful contexts
2. Give clear instructions for tasks and activities
3. Notice and correct students’ errors
4. Keep learners motivated through praise
5. Increase opportunities for more student talking time
Course duration: 6 weeks

Assessment: Reflective journal and interview with tutor
